Commission appointing Samuel Heath a Lieutenant of the First Company in Roxbury under the command of Joseph Heath in the First Regiment of Militia within the County of Suffolk. Signed by Secretary Josiah Willard and Governor Jonathan Belcher.

In 1737 George II appointed a commission to settle the boundary conflict between Massachusetts Bay and New Hampshire. Both sides appealed the commission's decision to the King, who settled the matter in an order in council issued Apr. 9, 1740.
